Postcard from Denver

Find joy and solace in the simple, and cultivate your utopia by feeling the Tao in every cubic inch of space. — Wayne Dyer

Denver, the mile-high city, sitting 5000 feet above elevation and tucked away along with the Rockies. Filled with public multi-purpose spaces and bike lanes, by each block, it becomes more clear that this is a city built for the people. In the debate of ‘great American cities’, it would be criminal not to mention Denver. In fact, the discussion should be centered around this city. It’s too ambitious to be a mountain town, it’s too humble to be a metropolis. It’s a hidden oasis that the locals have for themselves and are not telling the world about — can you blame them?

All images were made with a Fuji Xpro2 with a Minolta Rokkor 40mm f/2 for Leica M, with an in-camera home-cooked, warm Eterna film simulation. Simple crop and S-curves adjustment was applied in post.
